Matthew’s behind-the-scenes engineering capabilities keep our events moving smoothly, without delay or exception. Our perfectionist and no-nonsense workhorse, he is an integral part of the preparation and event day activities.

With over a year of in-office experience, Brian has taken his DBD know-how to the West Coast. An actor, writer and former New Yorker, he has made the transition to Los Angeles to enjoy the year-long summers and become somewhat famous. In the meantime, Brian continues to manage both the David Beahm Design website and our vast collection of event photographs, as well as making new contacts on the West Coast.

The voice of David Beahm Design, Lisette navigates our busy phone lines and ensures a fully functioning office, in addition to countless other day to day responsibilities. Lisette joined the DBD team in May 2007 after graduating from New York University. Our “go-to” gal, she is regularly sourcing out new, different and fantastic goods that are ultimately made available to our clientele. With such a diverse wealth of product knowledge, Lisette is a crucial asset to our design team — offering new and inventive solutions to the often challenging demands of an event.

A San Francisco native and NYU graduate, Christina is known within the event industry as David’s right hand and trusted assistant. As a key client liaison, Christina ably helps supervise a myriad of events from inception through to execution; she is a key resource for assuring that client expectations are consistently met. Accessible, speedy and exceedingly accurate with an energy that buoys all who interface with her, Christina’s role in supervising logistics makes even the most complex event emerge as a flawless celebration while simultaneously ensuring that David’s vision is met to perfection.

From Moultrie Georgia, Jeremy is an exceptionally talented designer who demands flawless and superior goods from all purveyors—here in New York, as well as from all domestic and international market. Jeremy has run a B&B and began hosting parties, though after earning a masters degree from Texas Tech, he moved quickly from retail events to design. His favorite time in the fast-paced design process? “The last 45 minutes of an installation can be riveting when it all seems to come together seamlessly,” says Jeremy who ably supervises all studio and on site crews, where the numbers of staff may range from several dozen to several hundred.

A native of Missouri, Timothy earned his MFA—fittingly in scenic design—from Mason Gross of the Arts. He brings a great sense of organization to his role as client liaison and the day to day management of a variety of event projects. His background as visual director for a number of design firms, with stints in Brussels, Antwerp and Frankfurt, adds great value to his creative contributions and makes Timothy a valued team player.

With over 10 years of experience in the special events industry, Nick is the most recent addition to the DBD team. Having planned and executed high-profile events (from top fashion houses to renowned museums) throughout the country, Nick brings a vast breadth of expertise and skills to the DBD crew, spearheading our new event planning division and helping to transform David Beahm Design into a full-service, one stop design and planning firm. Nick would like to take this opportunity to stress his undeniable charm and striking good looks.

Fuzzy, grey with a white tipped tail, everyone knows Vivian. Found boarded up in a vacant home near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Vivian took up residence at David Beahm Design in 2002 and never looked back. She is a key asset during client consultations, almost always prominently poised on David’s lap.

Gigi was rescued from a shelter in Georgia nearly three years ago. With her good looks and southern charm she has become a welcomed and calming presence in the office. When bathed she lends an air of insouciant sophistication to the production studio. Skills include maintaining enthusiasm and retrieving things.

David Beahm and the DBD crewcelebrated their 10th Anniversary on January 25th, 2008. The festivities were held at Hotel QT on 45th Street in Manhattan and featured an indoor pool, a poolside bar, his and her steam rooms and free manicures and pedicures.
