David Beahm has been selected as
one of Modern Bride Magazine’s
25 TRENDSETTERS OF 2008!
The Palace Hotel hosted the
Awards Dinner on May 13th. David’s
award was presented by Emmy
winner and longtime friend Ted Allen.
Other 2008 Trendsetters include New
York Mayor Michael Bloomberg,
famed dress designer Oscar de
la Renta, and bridal beauty expert
Bobbi Brown.

CUSTOM CREATIONS
On July 22nd, CPS Events at The
Plaza hosted a 100 Mile Menu dinner,
serving dishes comprised solely of
ingredients sourced within a 100-mile
radius of New York City. The Plaza
and Great Performances caterers
called on David Beahm to create a
dramatic, 100-seat, circular
communal table for the evening, the
focal point of which was a 12-foot
tree emerging from the table’s center.
